CLEVELAND, OHIO, November 13, 2014 — Tools for Schools™ (TFS) announced the launch of BeaWade.com, a website devoted to developing effective leadership and marketing skills among administrators, instructors, and support staff in the field of education.
BeaWade.com was inspired by TFS founder Mark C. Perna’s encounter with Wade, a bus driver in Baltimore who displayed an engaging passion for his profession. The full story was featured in a national publication and may be viewed in video format on BeaWade.com.
Membership at the site is free. Members are encouraged to participate in the forums to share best practices, support one another, learn engagement tactics for both high school and adult students, and work toward improving their organizations’ cultures. Members receive an ongoing e-newsletter to stay up to date on all things related to BeaWade.com and TFS. In addition, the BeaWade.com blog provides articles on enrollment and retention strategies for CTE organizations.
The “I’m a Wade” Award section of the site is dedicated to those educators who are nominated by their peers as displaying the traits of a Wade. Winners are determined by TFS staff and receive an award certificate as well as a feature article on BeaWade.com.
